Well, we’re 3 days into the recording of my new record and I’m super stoked! Working with Mr. Winston Hauschild at The Bunker has been a real treat, finally a producer who writes music, plays music, and actually listens to music too* We’re having lots of fun and the creative juices are flowing, I can’t wait to let y’all here what we’ve come up with! The first single will be up for grabs on March 31st and the whole album will be released on April 8th!

Last night was awesome, thanks to all of you who came out and made it a successful evening! We were very close to raising $5000, we’ll be droppin off the money on Monday morning and I know it will make a big differences in the lives of many. So thanks again, you guys rock.

In other wild and crazy news…”Hey El Nino” is blowing up nation wide! There was an article published through Canwest global yesterday that went to every major news paper across the country! Not only that but we’ve got it playing on Virgin, The Peak, CBC, The Shore, Jack, The Q in Victoria, Citr, and Cjsfu!…But the craziest news yet is that Canada Am just got in touch with me and they want us to play it live on the show! This is crazy cool!

The newly renovated funky downtown pub on West Hastings has been around for more than 30 years! It has pool tables, pull tabs, and boasts the cheapest drinks in town! $2.75 Pints, $4.00 Highballs, and $9.00 Pitchers! We’ll also be having a 50/50 draw for cold hard cash as well some free band merch! and a “Hearts For Haiti” candy guesstimate game!

Cause we’re Canadian and we can afford to help our less fortunate brothers and sisters around the world.
